Seeking a Sr. Java Applications Developer for their direct client in Sacramento, CA. The Sr. Java Applications Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing JSPS, EJBs, and Web Services around the client's core product areas which include the following: Order Fulfillment, Content Management, Workflow, Customization Frameworks and Systems Integration.

Required Skills:
* 8+ years development experience with Java
* 3+ years experience in a J2EE Environment using JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic
* 3+ years development experience with Servlets, JSP, XML, Ajax and JavaScript
* Worked on and contributed to at at least three major projects.
* Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns.
* Strong understanding of web development performance issues
* Knowledge and experience with XML, XSLT, XML Beans.
* Familiarity with Persistence Frameworks such as Hibernate, JDO, or TopLink.
* Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL databases.
* Experience with Apache, Tomcat, Struts and Web Services
