One of my client is looking for a Sr. HP UX admin/SME to start the project immediately
Engineer with 10+ years of Experience in supporting/implementing UNIX based servers & applications
Primary skills should include UNIX/LINUX Servers, Hardware & Application platforms including
1. UNIX/Linux OS - HP UX, RHEL.
2. Virtualization/Zoning knowledge.
3. Hardware - HP9000 series etc.
4. HP UX Network, Printer & File system, Security & User Administration.
5. HP UX SAR, Measureware & Perfview Utility.
6. Linux File system, Security & User Administration.
7. Applications - Samba, NIS, NFS, Apache, Sendmail, Syslog.
8. Write shell scripts to automate tasks.
9. Experience on Management of Storage through HP storage Works.
10. Knowledge of EVA, XP128/XP256, Dell EqualLogic, EMC Clariion.
Engineering skills should include -
1. Experience in support of Abacus, MD Nastran, Solid Edge, and Hyperworks.
2. Administration of PIM servers
3. License updates and upgrades of Engineering server applications
4. Experience in supporting EDA ( Engineering Design Automation) and Machine Design Softwares
5. Experience in supporting Mechanical Engineering applications
6. Configuration of LFS servers
Secondary Skills should include -
1. Good Communication Skills
2. Excellent interaction with clients
3. Should have good Presentation skills
4. Ability to analyse client requirements & provide solutions
5. New Technology update & be able to adapt them
6. Good Team player
