Fill role on project team for Community Investment to create business unit operational reports. This includes working with end users to understand reporting requirements; design queries/views against databases; implement reports in Crystal Reports XI; assist with user validation/testing of reports and deploying reports to Business Objects server.
Major Accountabilities:
* Work directly with internal clients to assess and document business requirements and generate technical specifications.
* Prepare user, system, and run-time documentation that is intelligible to the business audience.
* Implement requested reports including unit testing of report results
Skills/Knowledge:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent education required.
* Minimum of four years of experience involving reports development with Crystal Reports.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with:
o Relational Database Management Systems, such as Oracle, including PL/SQL and expert SQL.
o Designing, developing and implementing reports using Crystal Reports XI
o Deploying reports for end users within Business Objects Server
o Developing functional and technical specifications for reports |
