Pay Rate: $36 - $43.26 per hour
Salary: $75K - $90K upon

Description:
The Application Engineer (CAD tool support) will provide high level consultation to the engineering customer and management. Be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of CAD engineering tools. They will provide customer support in areas of best practice development, operations support, problem resolution, and coordinate training for the engineering community. It is desirable that the candidate have experience with ECAD/MCAD design processes with emphasis on Part Modeling, Large Assembly Management, Product Data management (PDM).
Requirements:
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Candidate must have passed a certified Drug Test & Background Check prior to start date.
It would be great if candidate had SCI clearance but without is fine.
The candidate must have a complete understanding and wide application of engineering principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
Educational Requirements: BS/MS
This is an "Application" Engineer position.
This is "NOT" an engineering design position but the candidate will support the 2D/3D CAD "TOOLS" (Pro/E) that support the design engineers.
They must have strong customer service and communication skills and be able to handle several tasks concurrently.
Preferred Requirements:
It is desirable for the candidate to have 3 - 5+ years experience with Pro/ENGINEER, Intralink, PDMlink, and Windchill. Experience with or a combination of CATIA V5, SmarTeam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD a plus.
Programming experience in MS Windows environment using VB, CAA, FORTRAN, C, C++ and shells scripts is also a plus.
