STG is a preferred vendor for Sears in Hoffman Estates. Sears is looking for a Content Specialist to work in Naperville, IL. Responsibilities include a variety of content related activities including, but not limited to: writing/editing titles, marketing copy, product attributes and managing product specific digital assets such as images, videos and buyer guides. Data analyst to provide a variety of data cleansing functions: Data clean up, data validation, content description cleanup, attribute validation and clean up; Gather and review business metrics to effectively prioritize product content enrichment needs; Write and edit product content (including attribute management) for Sears Holdings’ websites including Sears.com; Kmart.com and MyGofer.com; Manages and ensure proper product image(s) are available on Web product detail pages; Analyze operational and process issues and provide recommended resolution/escalation paths; Enforce consistency and standards for online content’ Track key content metrics for analysis.
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree with preferred concentration in English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising
• Above average writing and editing skills extremely important
• Project or product management experience or education is a plus
• 1-3 years product or content management experience
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Strong overall communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate deliverables and meet deadlines while maintaining quality of work
• Proven ability to analyze work and prioritize effectively
DESIRED:

• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
