Application Systems Management is spearheading the re-design of our Patient Billing and Revenue Management System. We are currently seeking
a Senior Business Analyst/Application Coordinator who has strong analytical and problem solving skills. The candidate for this role must have the ability to assess the best technology solutions for given business rules and requirements and experience in projects involving complex integration. They must possess sharp partnering skills (i.e.: technical issue resolution facilitation, clear and concise communication, negotiations and documentation of agreements regarding technical changes, pleasant personality and professional demeanor in representing our project) and persistency in communicating expectations until systems changes are completed. Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Resolute Professional Billing Training and Certification along with 3-5 years of recent experience with the product is required; knowledge of claims and remittances and charge router build and maintenance is strongly preferred as is Epic Resolute product implementation and deployment experience. Knowledge of KP standard systems interface technologies and protocols, including HL7 and batch interfaces while not required is a plus. Candidate must be able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction. They may also be responsible for instructing and guiding lower level professionals. Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 40+ hours a week.
Top Tech Skills: Hands on experience with Epic Hospital Billing and/or Epic Resolute Billing., experience with configuring charge router is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of revenue cycle. Must be certified in Epic Resolute Hospital or Professional Billing.

This is a Business/Technical Analyst position and the individual must have Excellent technical documentation skills and be able to create Test Strategy Documents Travel will for Go Lives and this person will need to be available for technical issues. Travel will be reimbursed.

Position Description:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will mainly
? Help Devise, document & implement business & IT procedures and processes
? Help with business continuity planning including documenting data flows and user experience in various use cases as per technical solution roadmap
? Collaborate with a team of Subject Matter Experts, vendors, Technical Project Managers, etc to effectively deliver projects/initiatives, including capability to work in large cross-functional teams
? Manage release plan and features adoption for business continuity solutions and features
? Help with preparing communication, administration and user guides
? Help with use case analysis & documentation, business process definition & re-engineering workflows in Healthcare industry for differing applications in differing scenarios
? Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic project success
Minimum Qualifications:
? 4-6 years of IT experience as a team member in:
o a large scale project
o or familiarity with Epic suite of applications
? Understanding of Hospital Operations, clinical workflows
? Hands-on expertise in
o Microsoft Office Toolkit ? Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
o Access database, Web screen mock ups
o Industry standard templates for documenting use cases, data flows, user guides, business processes in clinical environment
o Communicating to technical & business teams
? Should understand technology and its jargon - including business continuity enablement concepts, data flows, infrastructure, etc
? Strong written and verbal communications skills
? Able to work well as part of a team as well as be self-motivated
? Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational skills.
? This position travels up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Consulting experience is preferred.
? Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred.
? Prior experience in Epic suite of applications is preferred.
? Cache DBMS is a big plus.
? Methodology or training certifications in technology and/or Project Management are preferred.
? Experience in Matrix environment preferred.
