The Cognos Developer will be designing and developing Cognos reports and also perform Life Cycle Support (LCS) activities. This position requires a daily commute to Ft. Meade, Maryland.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills (e.g., use of Microsoft Excel and/or Access to analyze data)
- Strong presentation development and writing skills (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word)
- Ability to facilitate client meetings and workshops to define client processes and needs
- Ability to analyze client processes, develop clear, detailed information technology functional requirements
- Ability to lead small teams to complete a project
- Strong written and oral skills required
- PeopleSoft 8.8 or above upgrade experience
- Development experience with Oracle
- Knowledge of and experience using data modeling, UNIX, PL/SQL, and experience with PeopleSoft HRMS
