Job Description:
This position requires that the candidate be able to dynamically multitask across numerous issues and clients in a high pressure SLA driven environment. Candidate must be time flexible as the team provides 7x24 client support, so schedules can provide, day, night, and/or weekend coverage. The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable Data-Networking knowledge and experience to include Cisco Routers, TCP/IP, and Circuit troubleshooting. This is a requirement for this position.

Required skills: -
Basic WAN troubleshooting/problem determination. ( Frame Relay, ISDN, ATM, and Private Line) -LAN troubleshooting/problem determination. (Ethernet, VTP, Token Ring, HSRP) -Advanced knowledge of Cisco Router troubleshooting/problem determination and maintenance. -Excellent understanding of routing and routing protocols. (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ect) -Advanced understanding of TCP/IP. -Unix user skills. Desired Skills: -Juniper Router troubleshooting and problem determination -MPLS experience -Cisco Wan Switching (IGX/BPX) troubleshooting and problem determination. --Highly Desired-- -Cisco Multi-Layer Switching troubleshooting/problem determination -Shell scripting Desired Certifications are (but not limited to): -Cisco Certifications
